elderflower & elderberry cordial, syrup & mixed drink recipes

Back in the early days of England, cordials were considered medicinal for their beneficial effects on the heart. In modern times, elderberry cordials and syrups are popular as a ward against colds, or added to mixed drinks and liqueurs.

    Requires: elderflower, lemon, citric acid, sugar, water. Time: 5 days.
  • elderflower cordial (Delicious Days)

    Great site & thanks for linking to us at Christmas Matters! Will look forward to the elderberry season to try some of these. Just starting with elderflower cordial & champagne now & will be using all this very useful info.
