Neat! I just wildcrafted some elderberries cause I was really down with the summer flu. They are boiling on the stove right now. Thanks for having this as a resource!!

I have been trying to get the recipe for the elderberry syrup with no luck. My mom has flu like symptoms and I would love to make this for her. Please send it to my e-mail. Thanks so much

I wonder if you could send the recipe for elderberry syrup to me as well (shapiroe@gmail.com). I’ve been looking everywhere of a good way to distill as much of the berries’ awesome power, but with little luck until now. Unfortunately the page won’t load, so I’m left with the bitter frustration of internet mockery on my lips and a never-ending sniffle in my nose.
Thanks,
Emily

My Elderflower syrup is now growing something. Is it still safe to eat? Is it just fermenting? There is a film on top of the syrup, which has been refrigerated for about a month. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
