natural remedies for colds and flu
January 11th, 2008 · 2 Comments
Healing_Friends has reposted an excellent but long write-up of natural methods for relief from cold and flu symptoms. Do a search for "elderberry" to skip to the elderberry-specific section if you wish, but the whole thing's worth a read.
I'd have linked to the original posting, but I couldn't find it. :/ Original author credit: Linda B. White, M.D.

Elderberry works well as a way to shorten or minimize any cold-like symptoms. At the first sign of a sore throat, I begin 3 tsps a day and my malady never gets worse. I have never come across anything that works so well and so reliably.

What do you mean with elderberry? Do you mean the berries plain, or do you mean made into a tincture etc.? One does not exactly get fresh elderberries in January. But do you dry them or what?
