elderberries for every garden
December 17th, 2007 · No Comments
If you have room for only one edible plant, consider the elderberry, Ms. Burke says. This fairly short article lists out several varieties of elderberry and discusses good uses for each in a garden setting near fountains and elsewhere. After reading this, I'm more sure than ever that this is what I want in the back corner of my back yard. Weed-free, attracts butterflies and birds, colorful flowers and edible berries... what's not to like?
